I live in the Vale of Evesham and class myself as pretty lucky to live so close to so many beautiful places to fish.

Born and bred in Gloucester; Started fishing when I was twelve, and caught my first fish off Gloucester Canal, after blanking my first 3 times out; a small roach of about 3oz's in -5c with snow on the ground.......For some reason I enjoyed it and carried on!

I took a few years out when my daughter was born but have just started back into fishing towards the tail end of last year now that she's not a baby/toddler anymore.

Think I'll probably be concentrating on the W Avon and Teme this season with the occassional trip back to the Lower and Middle Severn where I spent much of my early years.

I've spent all my adult life working in various roles within the Aerospace industry.
